This is our own home away from home to host our travel-loving friends from around the world who would find themselves in Oaxaca again and again. We built Alcala over the course of three years and designed every detail to help you live and truly experience what Oaxaca has to offer.
From our honor-system mezcal bar, distilled by my father and his two generations of ancestral agave knowledge, to our michelada bar, and our custom-built Cocina de Humo (open fire kitchen), which includes one complimentary multi-course meal cooked by a Oaxacan matriarch, our wish is for 228 to feel like you're at your own vacation home, that happens to be in one of the most magical cities in the world.
